Project Grama ( A 10 Bed ICU for Emergency Care for the Rural Poor )

US CPR Team visit to Vikarabad.

• The US CPR team comprising of Dr.Satya Garimella, Udai Kumar, Krishna Kottapalli visited the MAA Sharda hospital run by YAGNA foundation in Vikarabad
• They took a tour of the hospital and got an understanding of the existing infrastructure and capabilities of the hospital.
• They interacted with the members of YAGNA foundation and got an understanding of the support that the hospital needs to provide affordable emergency care to the rural poor 
• YAGNA foundation put forth a request for help to build a 10 bed ICU to the US CPR team.

Goal:

To strengthen emergency medical care services by setting up of 10 bedded ICU at MAA Sharada Hospital & Institute of Holistic Health Care located at Vikarabad, Telangana 501102

Objectives:

• A dedicated 10 bedded Intensive care unit to help treat patients needing critical and emergency 19 medical care at an affordable cost.

• Create additional capacity in terms of equipment required.

Support needed for a 10 Bed ICU setup at Maa Sharda Hospital.
