Promote Education - Ek Kadam Ujjwal Bhavishya ki aur

Children in the ZP Schools in Shahapur and other villages around Shahapur generally drop mid-session. There are various reasons attributing to the dropout. Health, migration, social stigma are a few, but one of the main reasons, as observed by the teachers, is the lack of availability of resources to study. The children start with 1-2 notebooks when the curriculum year starts, but once these notebooks are filled, they don't get money to make further purchases, due to which they stop attending school.

Under Promote Education, we are nipping the issues in the bud by providing the children with the necessary resources like bags, books, stationery, lunch boxes, and water bottles.

We provide 1 kit suiting to the student's class which is good enough to suffice for the entire year.

The child can now proudly carry their school bag with separate notebooks for every individual subject.

The quality of education has improved as the students are not using the same book to write for all subjects.

The chool dropout rate has reduced.

As we say, nothing smells better than new notebooks, the volunteers witness precious smiles of thousands of students when they receive their kit.

Till date, we have covered 1,30,000 kits have been distributed
