CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE has continued to haunt children in India for years. Several children suffer in silence, unable to recognise or comprehend what they are being subjected to. Lack of awareness, stigmas and silence associated to child sexual abuse has failed several parents, caregivers and educators to identify, call out or report child sexual abuse.

In 2022, the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) documented 64,469 instances of child sexual abuse and 38,444 cases of child rape, equating to seven children reporting a sexual crime ever hour, with four reporting rape. (Source: childprotection.org.in)

Last year, we worked with 1200+ children, 450+ parents, 350+ teachers and teams at civil society organisations in marginalised communities through awareness and capacity building programs. This year we aim to reach more children and adults.
