Provide Digital Literacy to RURAL Youth and Children

The reaching of e-literacy, e-education & training, I.C.T. and I.T. is a far dream of rural people, The technical expertise, knowledge and its services have not yet reached the rural people. It is a goal to create and deliver sustainable technology solutions to individuals and under served sections of society and help them realize their full potential. Government is coming out with schemes which are increasingly pro digital, and require rural people to be well versed with computers and mobile to be able to extract maximum benefits from the same. This leads to underdevelopment, under productivity & unemployment causing Poverty.

Only 16% of the rural Indian population has access to internet services, however only 3-5% of the rural population has received skills training to utilize these services.

We work to address the lack of access to the I.C.T. education and related life skills among people who live in rural areas. Thus, there is a need for improved accessibility, awareness opportunities and skilled teachers for rural Indians towards ICT education and life skills training becomes extremely important.

This is where PANCHAVATI and its unique methodologies have made computer literacy available at their doorstep. Panchavati team of 2 or more could reach out to the each Government School/s and educate them at their door step daily 90 minutes in each school ( within Primary & High Schools) and villages directly. This helps mitigate a huge area of concern, assuming that we were to ask the interested students attend practical computer training classes at a Mandal Headquarter apart from the technology going to them. This would lower the costs significantly. It would be saved a large amount of expenditure in terms of time, money and resources. Additionally, Immense amount of care is taken in terms of curating the content for the masses such that it is easily palatable for the students across grades. Since this is a basic level / foundation course, it is imperative that it is able to capture and retain everyone’s attention.

To sum it all up, We are imparting the computer education and e-skills at their door steps of Government High School Children which reduces the time, cost and energy both ends and our Training centre is open week days at Mandal level, which serves as leverage to Public at large. It all provides to direct benefits to the targeted people program. Hence, we committed to work on “to empower the Rural Children with Skills and Knowledge”.

1. We will be able to reach 25 villages in Rangareddy & Medchal Districts.
2. 50 + Government Primary & High Schools will be covered and will cover 10,000+ children from 5th to 10th class and these children are enable to aware the basic knowledge on ICT and computer education.
3. To establish the Computer Lab & English Language Lab (for all practical sessions) at Hayathnagar Mandal Headquarters in Rangareddy District
4. 100+ youth Girls & women are being trained as “e-literacy education teacher” to create an access to work as a teacher in all Government Schools with in the mandal level.
5. Quality of e-education is assured at their door step.
