I am raising funds to provide a long term support to Alpana and her family (mother and sisters).Alpana won wide-spread recognition for her handwriting in Telugu. Hon'ble Vice-President of India Sri Venkayya Naidu too praised her handwriting in one of his tweets.Alpana lost her father a few years ago. Her mother was the sole brad winner since then. Lately, she has has been ill and not able to go to work. Alpana and her two elder sisters are staring at a bleak future. The sisters are compelled to work in a nearby firm on daily wages.They have requested us to help them set up a provision store as source of livelihood in the long run. Your support can help the children go to school.

SPHOORTI is a non-profit organization working for underprivileged children - orphaned, abandoned, destitute, and other vulnerable groups. Our mission is to change the lives of such children - by providing them with long-term care. This includes basic needs, education and healthcare, and skills necessary to transform them into responsible citizens.We are based in Dundigal, outskirts of Hyderabad. 180 children stay in Dundigal which has a total built-up area of 40,000 sq.ft. 60 children (STD XI and above) stay in various residential colleges in Hyderabad.We also sponsor the education of more than 50 poor children in collaboration with corporate and non-profit partners.
