Story

Pune Kabir Festival celebrates the wisdom shared by Kabir and all saints who walked this earth.

Annually, Baithak Foundation and a dedicated group of volunteers come together to create the city-wide lively engagement with saint poetry.

In the 2024 edition of Pune Kabir Festival we are collectively asking the question: What is Enough?

साईं इतना दीजिये, जामे कुटुंब समाये ।

मैं भी भूखा न रहूँ, साधू न भूखा जाए ।।

Through participation, embodied presence and learning, the festival aims to bring us together in listening and celebrating words and wisdom that has lived for centuries. By blurring the lines between a performer and audience, we envision the creation of a truly collective effort to create a space for dialogue in our city.

Festival Dates:

The weekend event line-up is as follows:

At some places it could be a music workshop, an origami activity or it may be a drama class all revolving around the theme of the festival. There will be book readings and reflections too.
