Hi! I’m Shivang, a student at Nahar International.Two years ago, my grandmother’s cancer diagnosis changed everything for me. Seeing her fight made me realise how tough this disease is and how much tougher it is for children battling it without proper nutrition. In India, 40% of the 76,000 adolescents diagnosed with cancer each year are malnourished at diagnosisI’m doing a walkathon for a cause close to my heart: raising funds to provide nutritional support to children with cancer in our partner hospitals.Your support can help them get stronger and heal better. Help me support a cause close to my heart

Childhood cancer is mostly curable across the world. But in India, with up to 40% of children with cancer being malnourished at diagnosis, survival is a huge problem. We're on a mission to change that through our FoodHeals program. We give children undergoing cancer therapy at over 30 government and charity hospitals access to trained clinical paediatric nutritionists, expert dietary counsels, supplements, in-meals, hot meals, monthly ration baskets and caregiver support. Good food helps the medicine work!Besides the love and affection of our patients, their families, and our supporters, we’ve won some awards along the way too. This includes the National Award for Child Welfare in 2015-16 from the Hon’ble President of India and the Special Jury Mention at the Outlook Poshan Awards in 2019.
