Residents of Tandi village in Jibhi Valley, Himachal Pradesh are left unsheltered, battling bitter winter winds after a devastating fire engulfed 20 houses and left 147 people displaced on 1st January 2024.

In an instant, half the village population lost their homes, livestock and livelihoods. The devastation has cost an estimated ₹10 crore in damages as people continue to brave nights inside tents in sub zero temperatures.
