The situation in Dhubri is critical, with over 775,000 people affected by the floods. Over 140,000 people in the district have been displaced, and 3,627 have taken shelter in relief camps. The flood has submerged 63,490.97 hectares of crop area, leaving many without their livelihoods.

Our organization, Empower People, has been working tirelessly in Dhubri to empower Young girls vulnerable to trafficking and also helping trafficking survivors in building their lives. However, the current flood situation has brought additional challenges and hardships for the people we serve.
