Cities are getting hotter, winters no longer feel like winters, and summers have become excruciating. This rise in temperatures is primarily due to the accumulation of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. The solution? Planting more trees, our natural warriors against carbon dioxide.

India ranks among the significant emitters of greenhouse gases globally. While our expansive population and thriving industries contribute significantly to our economy, they also leave an enormous carbon footprint. To offset this, we need to make an equally significant effort - tree plantation.

According to the World Air Quality Report 2020, 22 of the world's 30 most polluted cities are in India. We lost around 4.3 million hectares of tree cover between 2001 and 2020 due to development needs, causing habitat loss, declining biodiversity, and increased carbon dioxide levels. 

However, together, we can change this narrative.

In 2023, Bhumi orchestrated 90 tree-planting events with the help of 2662 enthusiastic volunteers. Thanks to these collective efforts, we've successfully planted 10141 trees, but our mission doesn't stop here.
