Rise above the Floods: Empower Assam’s Next Generation

Support 500+ Flood-Affected Children through the AMAN Fellowship

Every year, devastating floods and riverbank erosion disrupt the lives of families in the riverine communities of Barpeta, Assam. Homes and livelihoods are lost, families are displaced, and thousands of children face disrupted education.

For many children, repeated displacement means learning loss, irregular school attendance, and an increased risk of dropping out.

AMAN Foundation is working to change this through the AMAN Fellowship.

Our Solution: The AMAN Fellowship

The AMAN Fellowship is a youth leadership and education initiative that empowers passionate rural youth to become teacher-leaders and grassroots changemakers.

Our Fellows work directly with children, government schools, parents, and communities to strengthen education in flood-prone areas.

Through teaching, mentorship, after-school learning centres, home visits, and community engagement, AMAN Fellows help children continue learning and build stronger connections between schools and communities.

Our Goal

Raise ₹10,00,000 to support 500+ children across 10 villages over 2 years.

Through this campaign, we will strengthen the AMAN Fellowship and provide quality learning opportunities for children in vulnerable and flood-affected communities.

Your support will help provide:

After-School Learning: Support for children facing learning gaps.

AMAN Fellows: Training, mentorship, and field support for local teacher-leaders.

Learning Materials: Books, worksheets, STEM activities, and educational resources.

Community Engagement: Home visits and collaboration with parents, schools, and local communities.

Youth Leadership: Developing local young people into long-term education and community leaders.
