In an area where families struggle to access resources like mobile data, new learning content, and trained teachers, high-quality early childhood education is a distant dream.

Denying them early education now means they may fall behind in first grade, are more likely to drop out of high school and college, and are less likely to enter formal employment. By withholding pre-primary learning opportunities, we are depriving an entire generation of possibilities, essentially telling them that their family's socioeconomic status or area of residence dictates their access to early education. Children who win the birth lottery have access to learning in their years, while those who do not win the lottery do not have this access.
