Story

Charity is our prime mission. Trust caters to the needs of ordinary masses and the upliftment of the oppressed and downtrodden. This organization is intended to fulfil the material and spiritual upliftment of the society giving emphasis to helping the needy and its slogan is "Help The Helpless and Serve The Needy."

Santhananda Mutt Rishi Jnana Sadhanalayam Trust is running and managing Sree Santhananda Vidya Nikethan School. The school is situated in Pathanamthitta District of Kerala. One of the main objectives of this school is the upliftment and providing modern education to the children from low socio- economic strata/ tribal background/widows/poor farming communities belonging to all faiths irrespective of caste, creed or religion. The students of the school are being taught with English as the main medium of instruction along with three languages namely Malayalam, Hindi and Sanskrit. The young minds are being tutored in holistic manner with concepts, morals and ethics and importance of the protection of environment.

Some of our key achievements in the past have been mentioned below:

  • Providing free education, books and uniforms to all the children.
  • Providing free transportation facilities to children for their commute to school.  The students have been fetched from areas spanning 25 km around the school.
  • Providing  nutritious mid-day meals to all the children.
  • Conducting parent awareness program's throughout the year which helps in giving an insight on how to provide a character driven education for the children.
  • Conducting various medical camps for the weaker sections of the society. Medical aids were provided to some of them and the rest were referred to public health centers and District hospitals.

1. Educate and uplift the marginal group of people.

3. Emboldening body, mind and intellect through real education.

4. Inculcating the spirit of unity, love and tranquillity.

5. Equipping a generation that follows the ideal path of righteousness and humanity.

6. Bridge the gap existing between people and create a sense of unity among them.

7. The centre exhorts everyone to join together in its attempt towards national reconstruction and global resurrection.
