Runway of Hope

Aradhana hails from a tiny village in Gular and dreams of becoming a journalist and sharing stories from her community. Amit lives in the neighboring village and aspires to serve his country by becoming an army officer. In Delhi, Khushi lives in an urban slum with her siblings and wants to be a teacher, to help her community and her parents live a better life. 

Aradhana, Amit, and Khushi are a few of the countless children, who belong to the marginalized communities that faced devastating socio-economic setbacks of the pandemic. Yet, they continue to dream and hope of a better tomorrow.  

This is far from reality for most children. With over 500 days of school closures, India’s children belonging to marginalised communities, have been victims of in-equitable online learning. 

How does Simple Education Foundation provide a Runway of Hope for children?

At SEF, we work to create this collective ecosystem of support around each child, ensuring their school and home environment gives them a chance to thrive in life.

Working with children, educators, parents, and anyone else who plays a crucial role in a child’s learning journey we are able to provide consistent high-quality learning experiences that give children a runway for their right to dream and build a better tomorrow for themselves and their families.

How can you help? 

With schools reopening across the country, each child requires an ecosystem that ensures they are able to rebuild their lives and do not fall back into cycles of poverty. About Simple Education Foundation

Simple Education Foundation (SEF), is reinventing India's government schools by ensuring high-quality learning for all children, giving them a chance to build a better tomorrow.

By coaching and mentoring one or all key enablers that impact the life and learning of a child - Principals, Educators, and Parents, we ensure the government school ecosystem takes ownership of their schools and puts the school on the path of excellence for every child's holistic development. Through SEF’s intervention children receive high-quality learning rooted in the Head, Heart, Hand and Soul that prioritises the integration of 21st century skills & socio-emotional skills with academic learning daily.

Currently, we are demonstrating 7 Government Schools across Delhi & Uttarakhand as Centres of Excellence, serving close to 1500 children. In addition, at the Systems Level we are working with SCERT, Delhi to implement a state-wide coaching and teacher development program for 80,000 teachers serving over 25 lac children in the state.
