As India progresses, our rural elders are being left behind. With young family members migrating for work, elderly parents face loneliness, neglect, and deteriorating health. Once respected as heads of households, many now struggle with isolation, financial insecurity, and lack of medical care.

Our Mission: Seek and Connect

‘Seek and Connect’, the social outreach arm of Care Unlimited, has spent a decade supporting senior mental well-being. Now, we are expanding our efforts to rural India—starting with the Sundarbans, where elders suffer silently without access to basic healthcare or emotional support.

What We’ve Achieved So Far

1. Trained local caregivers at Calcutta Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology (CMIG).
2. Provided medical gadgets and bicycles for efficient outreach.
3. Conducted health camps, eye check-ups, and regular visits to monitor well-being.
4. Built trust and companionship through consistent emotional support.
5. Visiting 500+ seniors once a month for the last 6 months
6. Created a data-driven approach to identify critical needs and trends.

Our Future Goals

1. Expand Reach – Cover more villages and blocks.
2. Enhance Mental Wellness – Engage elders in meaningful activities to combat loneliness.
3. Strengthen Medical Support – Ensure timely health interventions.
4. Research & Advocacy – Document challenges to drive systemic change.
