In a government school classroom, a child once drew a river filled with dead fish.

At the bottom of the page she wrote,"Yeh paani mar raha hai."

No one had ever asked her what she thought about the world before.

At Prabhav Trust, we see this often. Children have thoughts, ideas, and emotions about the world around them. But they rarely get a platform to express them.

So this year, we are building one.

In July 2026, Prabhav Trust will reach 30 Schools in 30 days, working with children from underserved communities.

Instead of tests and textbooks, we will give them something different: A space to express themselves through art.

Through drawing, poetry, storytelling, craft, and theatre, children will share their ideas on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the world they want to grow up in.

Over 30 days, thousands of children will create work that reflects their imagination, concerns, and hopes. And then we will take their voices beyond the classroom.

In an auditorium in New Delhi, we will showcase their work in a public exhibition and performance. Walls will display their art. The stage will carry their poetry and stories.

For many of these children, this will be the first time their ideas are seen, heard, and celebrated.

Because education gives knowledge. But opportunities build confidence, identity, and belief.
