Story
Since beginning of lockdown in 2020, The Trust, in association with like-minded individuals, began to distribute Grocery Kits to the support staff of Sai Sankalp Nursery and Primary School to support them and their families overcome the difficult period. This initiative has been extremely helpful to the beneficiaries and hence the grocery kit distribution has been continuing till-date as a perk. The number of beneficiaries now is 7.
Now, we are planning to increase the beneficiaries to 18 so that all the staff of the school can avail this perk.
The school has been functioning in Arasankazhani village for the last 15+ years and brings in teachers from neighboring villages like Sithalapakkam, Ottiyambakkam apart from the locals. 99% of our staff are women and play a major role in generating income for their families. This perk will certainly help them ease their financial burden.
