Samanta Learning for all (learning for differently abled's)

 More than half of the people living with disabilities are unable to complete their basic education. The ones who somehow manage to complete it in a stipulated time, find it extremely challenging to get recruited with decent or equal pay like others.

Many factors like their fragile economic condition, physical disabilities and lack of assistance, and the unwelcoming attitude of their peers and society play a big part in further discouraging them from depending on education as an answer to their challenges.

The dire state of the employment sector with respect to people living with disabilities is one that needs acknowledgement and support from both public and private functionaries of the state.

Samaanta is a creative learning and training initiative crafted by and for people living with disabilities. In this vocational-oriented learning programme, we bring forth an opportunity for students between the age group 15-18 to hone their language and IT skills; a prerequisite for finding promising employment in any reputed sector. These training exercises elaborately sustain the confidence of our candidates and groom them to become more successful in the working sector of our country, which is otherwise unpromising to the people living with disabilities.

Three months of training exercises, conducted throughout the year, churn out at least 100 candidates every quarter. In total, under Samaanta, around 400 approx. young students living with disabilities receive vital training to gain employment in various sectors. The impact is reflected in their willingness to find and hold on to competitive jobs in the industry with greater confidence. The training also reflects on their skill building and strengthens their CV experience.
