Sambhav - A Special Unit for Differently Abled Children’s

Albert Einstein once said, “if you judge a fish by its ability to fly, it will take its entire life believing that it is stupid”. Specially abled children are not disabled but differentially abled. 

India makes for 2.21 per cent of the global population for persons with differential abilities, yet inclusion-associated challenges are being faced by them despite the legal rights and regulations. 

And although 31 per cent of this population lives in urban communities, they are deprived of the services they deserve as equal citizens of the same nation. 

Our special educators at Sambhav, our care and development Center for special tables children, believes each child is unique and has all potential to be given a chance to take them towards learning and growth. 

Our educators, therapists and counsellors follow a triangular approach to inculcate parent's engagement in the special education plans for the children. 

Through this project, Deepalaya has impacted 4,211 lives since 1995. Annually this project caters to 154 differently-abled children to complete their education with adequate resources and mainstream into regular schools.
