Saajha believes in dignity and potential of all parents and works towards building platforms for them to participate in learning of children. Saajha works with parents, primarily mothers, of children studying in government schools, enabling their participation in learning across the four levels of homes, classrooms, schools and communities. We work on instilling confidence in parents, building capabilities of school staff, and work on creating effective processes and systems to facilitate participation. Our work currently impacts about 75 municipal schools in Delhi and about 1,000 schools under the Delhi government through an indirect intervention model. Furthermore, we have also replicated our efforts in Jharkhand (Khunti) and Karnataka (Hubli).
