She has been diagnosed with severe congenital mitral stenosis with valve leakage, pulmonary hypertension, and heart enlargement—a life-threatening condition that has put immense strain on her young heart.

Doctors have advised that Lisha must undergo a Complex Open Heart Surgery (Mitral Valve Replacement with Septal Myectomy) immediately to restore her heart function and give her a chance at a healthy future. This surgery is critical and needs to be performed as soon as possible to prevent further complications.

WHO WE ARE

Noel Foundation is on a mission to provide critical care and support to children suffering from congenital heart problems. The genesis of Noel Foundation emerged from a deeply personal struggle.

I am a mother with first-hand experience of the trauma of seeing my son Shaun Noel go through three critical open heart surgeries to his delicate baby frame. What followed next were countless rounds to the hospital, multiple heart surgeries, piled up heavy medical bills and indescribable heartache as parents having to fight this life and death struggle relentlessly.

These are but a few challenges that parents with children having chronic heart diseases have to face. There was a tangible Tug @ Our Heartstrings and it birthed Noel Foundation.

Sometimes life’s most difficult challenges inspire us to achieve great things.

From being a young helpless mother with a suffering child, I then became the founder of this great cause! and dedicated our lives to save little hearts.

WHAT WE DO

Our mission is to provide emotional, financial, and medical support to every CHD child in this beautiful world of ours to allow them to lead a normal life. We restore CHD hearts regardless of race, religion, gender, or socio-economic situation.

The Noel Foundation facilitates medical treatment for critically ill underprivileged children suffering from Heart Defects. Each surgery costs between 1.5 lakhs to 6 lakhs, and surgery is often not affordable for many. Through a strategic partnership with hospitals and diligent outreach through grass-root level initiatives, we would use your generous donations to provide an opportunity to have a new lease of life for as many children as possible by providing timely medical help and support to rebuild the lives of innocent kids who are victims of heart disease.

WHY WE DO

Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is one of the biggest chronic health issues among children. According to AIIMS, New Delhi, 2019 report, More than 2, 50,000 children are born with heart problems (CHD) each year in India. Around 150,000 infants die of congenital heart disease in India every year due to a lack of timely medical help, financial constraints, and lack of awareness. It’s really hard to imagine how much these innocent children suffer and die just because they are born to poor parents as well as lack of awareness. They are in desperate need of love, care, and protection.

Our own son was diagnosed with multiple heart defects as a one month old infant, and required three complex open heart surgeries among other treatments. Having experienced the emotional and medical traumas as a result of CHD, we understand the pain of these patients and their families. Our experiences have also connected us with the best doctors and hospitals in the field of cardiac health, and this has enabled us to consult with the best medical professionals for patients who reach out to us.
