In Srikakulam district, fishermen drowning due to a lack of life jackets is a serious issue, particularly in interior areas with limited access to safety equipment. We support a few students in Polaki mandal in Srikakulam. One of the parents drowned and lost his life three days ago. We have received a request from the fishermen community to provide them life-jackets to avoid future mishaps. There are a total of 200 fishermen. Each life jacket costs Rs 1200 /$15.We covered 100 life-jackets so far, we need help for 100 more.

Sphoorti Foundation is a non-profit organization working for underprivileged children - orphaned, abandoned, destitute, and other vulnerable groups. Our mission is to change the lives of such children - by providing them with long-term care. This includes basic needs, education and healthcare, and skills necessary to transform them into responsible citizens.We run Sphoorti Model School, a residential school that provides free education to underprivileged children. We also provide education support to more than 100 children for Intermediate and Degree courses (BTech, BCom, BSc, BPharm).In addition, we provide lunch to more than 75 homeless people everyday in Tirupati.
