Help me raise money to support an underprivileged child

Launched in IIT Delhi in 2010, BloodConnect is a youth-run organization working to solve the problem of blood shortage in India. It acts as a channel connecting voluntary blood donors with those who need blood. It has developed a 360 degree solution to the problem of blood shortage; The solution involves ensuring continuous, sufficient blood supply to blood banks through blood donation camps and weekly donations; improving awareness by organizing street plays, info-talks; helping those in dire need by operating an emergency 24x7 helpline and lastly, establishing a network of youth across the country to lead the movement.

Till now, BloodConnect has conducted over 150 blood donation camps, collecting over 15,000 units of blood and helping save more than 30,000 lives. The team of over 200 volunteers comprises of students from various institutions like IITs (Delhi, Kanpur), NLUs (Delhi, Jodhpur), Delhi University. BloodConnect was also recently felicitated by the Union Minister of Health &amp; Family Welfare for exemplary work in this field.

Donations through Give Foundation, registered under section 80G of India's Income Tax Act, 1961 are tax-deductible.
