Sevadhama - Provide New Life & Hope to people with Spinal Cord Injury

Spinal Cord injury is an irreversible injury person affected with spinal cord injury suffer for life long. We have identified about 300 persons with spinal cord injury(PWSCI), most of them are farmworkers and presently bedridden and looking for rehabilitation from charity organizations. Loss of income, medical bills, rehabilitation, and the costs of daily care leave many spinal cord injury survivors in dire financial straits. injury

• Sevadhama Extends three months of rehabilitation services free of cost except for food charges, empower them with life skills and enable them to lead a life with dignity and self-help.
• Persons with Spinal Cord Injuries are rehabilitated by providing counselling, physiotherapy, paramedical support, training in independent living skills, aids and appliances, environmental.
• This is an intensive minimum of 12 weeks of residential training where PWSCI learn to wash their clothes, cook food, take care of their daily routine, transfer from wheelchair to bed, etc. helps them rebuild their social skills. Physical rehabilitation makes them stronger and independent. They go back home with confidence and dignity. Their independence opens up opportunities for work as well. We also provide them mobility accessories like wheelchairs, callipers for free of cost, workplace accessibility, home accessibility and toilet facility etc at a subsidized rate to lead a better and self-reliant life.
