Shaili Pandya & Rudra Pandya's Campaign to conduct year long activity based learning for 100 under-resourced rural children in Ahmedabad

Hello! We are Shaili Pandya & Rudra Pandya , studying in Indus University ( Year 1 ) and VPMP Polytechnic ( Diploma ) respectively . I am raising funds to empower and educate students from under-resourced background. My campaign will support year-long activity based learning at rural government schools. The funds will support maths and science kits (games, kits, demos, and worksheets), stationary materials, and regular teaching sessions.

My target: 100 students

Total campaign target: 10 schools * 200 students

My campaign will support UN’s SDG 4: Quality Education, in partnership with TIDE Foundation.

The cost for year long activity based learning (100+ activities) for each student only costs Rs. 500. Help me change the lives of 5 students by donating just Rs. 2500.

Why activity based learning:

Resonating with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) we recognize the need for activity-based and application-based learning to promote conceptual understanding. To address these challenges, we have developed interactive games and kits that help bring about conceptual understanding, and application-based learning. All children in grades 3-5 will attend these sessions.

About TIDE Foundation:

TIDE is a start-up educational reforms organization founded in November 2014 that aims at bringing about a sustainable change in the educational system. As of November 2022, we have impacted the lives of 32,500+ individuals. We have a strong team of 100+ members contributing regularly across our 6 projects.

Our flagship program, Block Education Transformation Initiative, aims to bring sustainable reforms in government schools. Our focus is on transforming school blocks, addressing literacy and numeracy gaps through our learning booklets, providing personalized mentoring support and improving teaching methods. We are currently working with 110 schools in Sanand, Ahmedabad.

With your support, we aim to create a replicable model for education transformation at the block level, which can be adopted at district, state, and national levels.
