Shalini Memorial Sewa Sansthan: Ensuring Dignity and Care for Abandoned Elders

SHALINI MEMORIAL SEWA SANSTHAN was started in the year 2013 to cater to the nutrition, health, and educational needs of underprivileged children in honor of my late sister, who tragically lost her life in a road accident. Her spirit, a guiding star in our mission, continues to inspire us to serve and uplift the underprivileged. Today, we stand united in our commitment to honor her legacy by making a lasting impact on the lives of the cherished elders at our Old Age Home.

We established an old age home in Etawah to give the abandoned elderly who are in need, of food, shelter, and clothing while keeping in mind their vulnerability. The facility has been set up and implemented to take care of aged people and provide all the basic amenities to them including food, shelter, health care facilities, recreational activities, etc.

Difficulties Faced - We have elderly residents living in our old age home who depend on us not just for shelter but for a dignified existence. We have to continuously ensure their well-being, meeting daily needs, and covering medical and other essential expenses. This has led us to deplete our financial reserves entirely. It is becoming more and more difficult to manage the expenses of our old age home.

To sustain this drive we seek assistance and funding. We request to support our drive for day-to-day running of the Old age home.
