Shelter Home for Orphan Girls

In the month of June 2017, we started “Destitute Home for Orphan Girls” for benefit of 25 orphan girls with the financial support of “Support for Educational and Economic Development” (SEED), USA.

The orphan girls are daughters of young widows, deaths of aids affected persons, re-marriage of widowed/ divorce women, absence of love and security, and unwanted pregnancy of sexually exploited girls; these orphan girls are left without care & support. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the funder SEED, USA informed us of their inability to fund after April 2022 due to fundraising limitations. We are deeply concerned about the future of girls without care for quality education, food, shelter, regular public school & tutorials attendance, access to safe drinking water, medical, cosmetic, and other basic needs support and also fear of early child marriages forced by their present guardians.

The primary goal is a home where orphan girls find a happy home for Education & Employment. For continuation of services of the Shelter Home and providing care & support for 25 Orphan Girls for their bright future with quality education, job-oriented technical skills, clothing, health, and hygienic shelter. Girls go to school, and college & provide timely study hours, health check-ups, cosmetics, books & 4 sets of uniforms every year. This proposal covers 25 orphan girls access to nutrition diet, sports, games, and extracurricular activities.

The project has a prospective, impact on the main streaming of orphan girls. Their basic needs are met & they will get new life through gaining knowledge, vocational, life skills. They get love & affection from caretakers, and staff of Shelter Home and are friendly with inmates. Orphan girls self-reliance increasing & becoming good assets to Nation. They are developed physically & psychologically & made as good & productive citizens. They will inspire by philanthropy & show humanity towards the community.
