“I want my Ayaan to live with dignity. My dream is for him to become as famous as Sachin Tendulkar,” says Shabana, the mothe of Ayaan, studying in the tenth grade. Shabana, a single mother, works as a house help in 5 places, and spends her evenings at a nearby factory to make ends meet. 

Since the past 18 years, Mumbai Education Association has been running Gurukul English High School & Jr. College for more than 500 students of Malwani like Ayaan. (add a line about teaching and learning, curriculum) We also focus on sports skills by providing 8 different types of indoor and outdoor sports to children. Already stuck in the vicious circle of poverty, these kids need scholarship to continue their education as pandemic has left many of them unemployed.
