Skill Development - Better Career

Financial weakness and lack of facilities is a major challenge that impedes the growth of youths for a bright career in northern India. These combined with increasing stress and addiction levels in the youths is alarming for society at large. Unemployment leads youth to stress, addictions, and suicides. Lack of skill is one of the major causes of unemployment.

This project by Umeed is to support young needy students with facilities to develop their skills.

The project aims at supporting students by providing Skill Training Workshops, Academic Scholarships, Food, and Positive Value Development to empower these youths with a better character and skillset to flourish individually and socially. We protect these youths from Stress and Addiction by providing them a positive culture of love and care with our Hostel Facilities.

We work towards providing the 4 vital needs for the youth and students - 1) Skill Development through vocational training workshops 2) Academic Scholarships to needy students 3) Free food and hostel facility 4) A positive association, Value Education, and a Stress-free environment

Youths emerge as of wonderful leaders with remarkably improved performance in their academics, personal lives, relationships, social contribution, and responsibility. They are found to be more strong mentally and emotionally and more inclined towards a Value centered life with a spirit of Service to others.

This project will provide:

1. Free skill training to 300 youths every year
2. Assistance in Job Interview to 180+ youths
3. One to One career counselling to 100+ youths
4. 20 Free Career related seminars for youths every year
5. 15 Free Mental Wellness seminars for youths every year
6. Free food and hostel facility for 40 Youths
