Soaring Girls with Education and Nutrition

Prevent 500 girls across 20 villages of Rajasthan from being pushed into the shackles of malnutrition, illiteracy and poor hyenine inflicted by COVID-19 pandemic. A simple contribution of ₹1,200 can help a girl with either nutritional needs or educational support. A small contribution of ₹250 allows the organisation to provide a hyenine kit to a beneficiary.

There are so many young rural and marginalized girls living at home and not able to get proper education, food or hygiene as their parents have lost the means to livelihood due to COVID-19 pandemic. Their savings have also been exhausted. Earlier they managed to work on the farm or at some shops in city but due to the fear of getting COVID-19, no one is providing them employment. Due to the poor financial condition of the family in the corona pandemic, these young girls are not having any education materials. Due to which they are unable to get education stuff, nutrition/food and hygiene materials.

In this affected time, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan will conduct Soaring Girls program under which the RSKS India team will select 500 girls from 20 different villages and will provide immediate and direct relief to these rural young girls. Baseline will be done and then the relief of education stuff, nutrition/food and hygiene materials will be provided to these young girls for free. The education material will contain register, copy, pen, geometry box, sketch color, etc. The nutrition/food will contain healthy food and the hygiene materials kit will contain sanitary napkins, sanitizers, soaps, handkerchiefs, etc. necessary materials.

Soaring Girls project will help these young rural girls to get education, hygiene and nutrition/food. They will be able to study without any tension and will be hygienic through the hygiene kit and it will also protect them from the COVID-19. The nutrition/ food will make them eat healthy and two times food daily. They will get on nine clouds after getting all these materials for free. There will be improvement in their education level and their health. They will be able to protect themselves and their family through the hygiene kit. Also they will believe on humanity and the suffering of their parents could be decreased.
