Special education to hearing impaired children

Akshara's narrative is one of remarkable resilience and unwavering determination, a true testament to the transformative power of support and opportunity. Born on December 7, 2014, in Hyderabad, Akshara entered the world facing profound hearing loss, a challenge inherited from her family lineage. With her father employed as a Mason and her mother dedicated to homemaking, finances were stretched thin, particularly with Akshara's elder sister also grappling with hearing impairment. The prospect of accessing proper treatment seemed distant and improbable.

However, fate intervened when they were introduced to Ashray Akruti through family acquaintances. In 2021, they seized the opportunity and enrolled both Akshara and her sister into the Ashray Akruti program.

Despite the hurdles she faced, Akshara's indomitable spirit illuminated her path. While her academic performance remained average, her prowess in co-curricular activities shone brightly. Achieving a commendable B2 grade in the Summative Assessment-1 underscored her dedication and perseverance. With the unwavering support and resources provided by Ashray Akruti, Akshara flourished, gradually honing her ability to recognize words and construct small sentences. Embracing every opportunity with boundless enthusiasm, she exemplified resilience in the face of adversity.
