Sponsor a Dalit community to become health-conscious

For a long time, Dalit communities have faced discrimination and marginalisation by the rest of society.

Due to their weak socio-economic background, one in three Dalit households do not have basic hygiene and sanitation facilities.

The project targets Nalanda, Bihar where a large number of Dalits live. We work towards improving health in the area and developing facilities for clean water and toilets.

It is also important for us to train those living here how imperative it is to use and drink hygienic water as well as being sanitary.

We hope to affect 3,000 Dalits living in Nalanda and a contribution of Rs. 310 will make all the difference to achieving that.
