Story
A number of disabled children in rural areas abandon school at an early age because the curriculum and infrastructure are not disabled-friendly. Once they leave school, their options are increasingly limited in becoming empowered citizens.
Our formal school in Kolhapur caters to the educational needs of hundreds of disabled children. Free hostel facilities, healthy meals, expenses for educational supplies and transportation services are provided.
For those who need special attention, we also run special coaching classes for them. In addition, our school curriculum pays special attention to teaching English as it forms an important part of today’s communication in any job sector.
This important project will raise funds to bear the expenses of schooling and other facilities for 450 children with disabilities.
