Sponsor Food, Shelter, Medicines & Clothes To Aged & Disabled Persons

Rosary Trust is running a destitute home for 70 aged and differently-abled persons since 1997 in a rural area near Tirunelveli, south Tamil Nadu. Due to shortage of rainfall, farmers could not cultivate crops. So, poverty came into play, leading to a neglect of the old, dependent, and differently-abled by their family members.They suffer from the shortage of basic amenities such as food, shelter, medicines and clothes.

Rosary Trust is trying to provide food, shelter, medicines and clothes to 70 neglected aged, disabled and blind people. It collects donations to meet the basic needs of these unfortunate people. It is trying to build shelters and arrange for basic furniture so that they can live comfortably. It is asking for funds from people to provide them with nutritious food, clothes and medicines. It is also arranging for a decent burial in the event that any of the beneficiaries dies.

Running a home for socially neglected people is one step towards eradicating poverty in our country. So far, 500 aged and disabled people have been looked after by Rosary Trust. The aged living here tell us that they find themselves at peace.
