Our focused area is southern region of Rajasthan Jhadol and Kotra the most backward and tribal areas of Udaipur district of Rajasthan. The community living here are very poor and hardly having meal for twice a day. Their priority is to provide food for their family first then they think other problems. RBKS is running 7 schools, 11 college and hostel for 1300 girls in the southern Rajasthan which is under developed area. Here the education is free for poor and needy students. 80 % of the students are getting free education in our education institution and all the girls at hostel are getting free education.
Rajasthan Bal Kalyan Samiti runs residential schools and girl hostels in tribal areas among the deprived and underdeveloped areas of Rajasthan. Close to 550 underprivileged and orphan girls in the age of 5 to 18 years stay in these hostels.
The beneficiaries are identified based on their family annual income. The school and hostel are on the same campus for safety and convenience. A warden and team of staff look after the children. Girls residing in the hostel who have homes are allowed to go home for vacations. They also undergo a medical check-up every quarter. Along with quality education, the girls are provided nutritious food and holistic development to build their confidence and to promote overall growth.
Many girls in our country discontinue their education as they cannot access the schools. Donate to this program and help a girl child with residential care so she can secure her education.
“Kali is an orphaned 9-year-old girl who has come to Hansraj Children's Home early 2022. Kali lost her parents at a very young age. For so long her Uncle Aunty took care of her. But they did not pay proper attention to Kali due to their poor financial condition and even her basic needs were not being met. As she was growing up, her needs were also increasing and they were not able to meet her needs, so they contacted us and admitted her to Hansraj Children Home. Kali's 2 elder sisters are already living in our institute from 2019. So she also wanted to be with her sisters. Kali does not even know to speak Hindi properly, she talks only in her local language. She has been admitted in the 4th class in the school. She is very weak in studies also. In the institute, she is being taught by giving extra classes. In 2 months her Hindi dialect has improved a bit.
Kali has found a new world here to be with her sisters, which makes her the happiest. She had never eaten ice cream; she had never even seen ice cream. She gets very happy when ice cream is given here. Similarly, she never went to the fair. She was overjoyed when we took her to the fair and she enjoyed on the ride with other girls. She has also come to Udaipur city for the first time, so much was new to her. She is getting all the facilities here so she is very happy. She loves drawing and she also likes to play with other girls.”

"My name is Sapna and I am 17 years old. My father has passed away and my mother has remarried and left me with my grandparents. I go to meet my grandparents on festivals. I like sports very much. Volleyball is my favorite game. Recently there was a volleyball match at district level, in which I got selected to play at the state level because of my good performance. It was a different experience playing here with the girls from the school and on the other hand playing with girls from all over the state. I felt proud of myself, now I will work harder and want to go from state level to national level."
