Globally about 1.4 billion people are visually impaired, out of which 45 million are blind. India has the World’s largest population of blind people. Surprisingly, 80% of the blindness cases are curable. Over 60% the blindness cases are because of Cataract. India has limited infrastructure and resources to reach out to the entire population. 

To help Society in this noble cause, “Dev Eye Foundation”, under the Societies Act 1860 was formed in 2014. Our vision is “Eradicate curable blindness amongst the poor & needy”.

We have a team of experienced and professional doctors, trained and experienced technical & non-technical staff. We are committed to bringing quality eye care to people irrespective of gender, age, disability, ethnicity or religion.

To serve masses and needy, the Foundation has established its peripheral Centre at 74-75 Ganga Enclave, Johri Enclave Metro Station, Loni, Ghaziabad where free OPD services, free consultations, distribution of spectacles and services for free surgeries are available. 

The centre organize free eye check up camps in the nearby villages of Loni/Ghaziabad(Uttar Pradesh). After a thorough eye check up at camp, those in need of further tests or cataract operations, glaucoma, yag laser are brought to our charitable centre for further treatment.

During a span of last 3 years, the foundation organized more than 250 free eye check-up camps, screened more than 20,000 patients and performed over 150 free eye surgeries. This was possible by the kind contribution of the individuals and philanthropist. And we are further looking for such support to reach out to the people who are in need. Your support can help us to bring light in their dim world. We feel that every individual deserve to see the colors of life through his/her own eyes – so here we request people to gift a light of sight to the poor and needy.
