Access to education has always remained a longed luxury for underprivileged children falling under the category of disabled / disadvantaged, single parent, deserted women and visually impaired parents. The parents are not able to educate their children because of low income and poverty. Students should not be deprived of education due to financial status. To avoid school dropout due to poor financial conditions, Udhavum Ullangal will support the students of schools identified in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Chingleput & Virudhunagar Districts with School fees, uniform, textbooks, notebooks, etc.

Udhavum Ullangal continues to adopt these children for educational and other essential support till completion of their higher studies. Udhavum Ullangal will support the tuition/hostel fees, uniform, books/notebooks, transport etc. in Chennai, Kancheepuram & Chingleput Districts where dropouts from schools are still higher and comparatively less number of children is pursuing higher education in degree/professional colleges. 

Udhavum Ullangal – ability to support the students not just through scholarship in some cases but also provide meaningful intervention that enhances their ability and skills required to succeed in life; ensure that as a logical culmination of the program to provide career placement support as well.

We conduct mentorship program every month to create interest in studies and to monitor the progress of these students in their studies. We Ensure that there is an immediate opportunity when they step out of college for the right job match to their skill and potential.
