Sri Vrindavana Goshala

Every day lakhs of cows are slaughtered in India which is more important for agriculture and general health. Cow Urine has 11 international patents with respect to cancer treatment and many drugs use them in preparation for increasing the medicine potency. In 2009 at the supreme court, it was practically proven that taking care of cows is more beneficial than slaughtering them for the sake of meat and skin. Inspired by that scientific analysis and knowing the importance of cows, we started goshala to shelter indigenous breeds of India.

Vrindavana Goshala takes care of abandoned and Injured cows till their death and tries to utilise their cow dung and cow urine to the extent possible in agriculture and health care. Vrindavana goshala even organises health camps and helps in scientific research on cow dung and cow urine which would help health and agriculture in a very big way. Vrindavana goshala also makes small products such as phenyl, cow dung cakes, dhoops etc and tries to contribute a bit towards goshala maintenance.

We Vrindavana goshala through our research and innovation of new uses of cow dung and cow urine, wish to create an economy based on taking care of cows than slaughtering them. By educating farmers and people on the use of cow dung and cow urine, the focus from milk will shift to income which is unutilised or unknown to many and will be opened to the public, which reduces the want for goshala. We believe goshala is like an orphanage or old age of cows which are abandoned by owners due to various reasons.
