All children love summer camps, but the ultra-poor children we work with have even more reasons to. Their vacations lack safe and engaging activities. And often, their mothers need to stay home to look after them. From April 14th to May 3rd, we are organising Parinaam Summer Camp '25, which will keep the children engaged and allow their mothers to work without worry.With your support, we can provide art, sports, outings, and enriching experiences led by volunteers. Your contribution will help us organise the activities, provide meals, arrange transport, and ensure a safe and enriching experience for these children.

Parinaam Foundation started as a not-for-profit organization in 2006 (incorporated under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 in March 2008). Today, Parinaam provides critical support to urban poor families in the areas of livelihood and community development (through its award-winning Urban Ultra Poor Program), women’s empowerment, financial inclusion (through Diksha – its Financial Literacy and Linkages Program), and education (Higher Education Scholarships and the Academic Adoption Program).Academic Adoption Program - The Academic Adoption program was established in 2011. The program currently operates only in Bangalore and addresses the bottom 5% of the urban poor who live in the city’s slums. AAP is a 15-year engagement that helps students with their education, provides long-term mentoring, and supports their journey to becoming economically empowered citizens of tomorrow.Urban Ultra Poor Program - Parinaam’s Urban Ultra Poor has connected with 8850 families in 135 families in Bangalore. These are the poorest of the poor, who reside in urban slums and have absolutely no support when it comes to livelihood development, healthcare, education, and financial and social services. And this is where Parinaam’s intervention helps. The ultimate goal of UUPP is to end generational povertyCommunity Development Program - Parinaam started a unique initiative in 2017, the Community Development Program. It was (and is) unique because transforming the community at the infrastructure level is an extremely complicated, time-consuming, and demanding task.The effort is to walk together with residents of the communities and set up health care centers, maternity clinics, school buildings, community centers, and the like and provide access to solar energy, safe water, and more.The Health Project - The second COVID wave caught India off guard. That was when we realized how inadequate and ill-equipped our healthcare system was in an emergency. This is why what we started as COVID Relief, has now transformed into The Health Project.The Diksha Financial Literacy Program is designed to help women from low-income families with the knowledge and tools they need to manage cash flow, save safely, plan for the future, and make informed, intelligent financial decisions. Parinaam partners with Ujjivan Small Finance Bank to integrate a savings initiative where families open savings accounts and are provided access to essential banking and financial services. Diksha has been recognized and acknowledged as a pioneering program by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Our intent now is to find more partners to digitize and scale this financial literacy program.
