Support A Disability Therapy of a Special needs Children

Children from low income families are worst affected when they have disability as the parents have hardly any money to even support food, shelter and clothing for them. This affects these children long term. The project is helping these children by providing subsidized therapies like Speech, Physio, Remedial, Occupational and psychologist in Mumbai. The children also receive counseling and support during these difficult times. We have provided more than 10,000 therapies to over 300 children

Identify children with developmental difficulties in high risk populations through visits to schools, hospitals, community health workers, Aganwadi, Public Health Centers, doctors, neonatologist, general practitioners and walk in parents.   Provide a team for inclusive assessments of these children and provide interventions through therapies to children with developmental delays.

Children with developmental delays will benefit from the project as they will receive quality medical support through trained doctors and therapist.  This will help them overcome their challenges they face physically, mentally and emotionally.  The parents of most of these children strive hard to make a daily living and having a child with disability is very difficult for them to cope up with. The project will also offer these parents hope and will to meet the challenges for their children
