Across India, thousands of neurodiverse children — those with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, and other developmental differences — are being left behind.

Even with laws like the Right to Education Act (2009) and the RPWD Act (2016) promising inclusive education, the reality remains heartbreaking:

• 🕓 Late detection: Most children are diagnosed only after age 6, losing crucial early years for intervention.
• 👩‍🏫 Few trained educators: Teachers often lack the skills to identify or support neurodiverse learners.
• 📚 Inaccessible classrooms: Traditional teaching rarely fits different learning styles.
• 💔 Social stigma: Many children face bullying or rejection instead of acceptance.
• 💸 High therapy costs: Families struggle to afford the care their children need.

A 2021 UNESCO–TISS study revealed that only 1 in 4 children with disabilities in India attend school regularly, and even then, most remain unsupported.

Avyan Idris Bridge School is reimagining how India nurtures and educates neurodiverse children.

We start early — between ages 3 to 8 — where every small step can make a big difference.

We screen children using developmentally appropriate tools and connect families to an integrated support system — including speech, occupational, and behavioral therapy — through a unified digital platform.

We follow a micro-school model — a “school within a school” — that blends classroom and therapy learning.

Our teachers are trained in inclusive teaching, child psychology, and assistive communication.

Each child receives an Individual Learning & Intervention Plan (ILIP) designed for their strengths, pace, and needs.

Classrooms include sensory-friendly spaces, visual routines, and structured peer engagement.

We run parent training sessions, support groups, and respite care — creating a trusted, verified ecosystem of parents, teachers, and therapists who work together for every child.

We prepare children for successful transitions — whether into mainstream schools or flexible learning pathways like NIOS — ensuring continued progress and confidence.
