Children and youth in mining-affected villages of tribal Odisha do not get any guidance and support to pursue their dreams and create a life of their choice. Like their parents, they also end up dropping out of school and in low-paying, vulnerable work. Our team is working to bring life skills coaching and mentorship to their doorstep, preparing them toward better education and livelihood outcomes.To help us create more impact and touch more lives, we need your support and contribution. The money we raise will help children in 15 mining-affected villages this year to fearlessly pursue their dreams. Social Shapes Foundation is a non-profit working with adolescents and youth (10-24 years) from rural low-income families who, due to the conditions they inherit, are often unable to explore their hopes, dreams and aspirations. Enabling an honest chance for them to succeed, we provide them accurate and timely information, guidance and coaching in life skills, and mentorship to improve their access to quality education and livelihood opportunities. We provide them "Vikalp - the power of having a choice". Through this journey full of colourful activities and interactions, our local coaches help them make informed decisions toward improved life outcomes.Vikalp is currently working in coal mining-affected tribal villages in western Odisha.

Donations through Give Foundation, registered under section 80G of India's Income Tax Act, 1961 are tax-deductible.
