Support education of children

There are estimated to be more than 18 million street children in India. A significant number of these children come from anti-social communities. These communities face widespread discrimination, compounded by illiteracy, malnutrition, health and social problems stemming from extreme poverty. This project will allow children from these uniquely marginalized communities in Goa, India to stay off the streets and thrive in mainstream school environments.

The project will enrol street/slum children in reputable schools around the city, sponsor their school fees, provide uniforms, shoes, school supplies, and nutritious packed meals. Additionally, all students in the Education Outreach Program will receive free health and medical care. Through these comprehensive support services, children will be able to stay off the streets and excel in school.

The project will provide 100 first-generation learners from marginalized communities with an excellent education and opportunities for holistic growth and development, which will put them on the path toward breaking the pervasive cycles of poverty in their slum communities.

All foreign currency subscriptions acquired before 6th December 2023 for this campaign will continue to go directly to Give Foundation Inc. until cancelled by the donor or Give, owing to the mandates applicable at the time of subscription. The donations will be further sent to the FCRA account of the Indian nonprofit or the US chapter as agreed to be used for the same cause as the Indian nonprofit. Eligible donors will receive tax exemption from Give Foundation Inc.
