Imagine having the skills, determination, and the courage to work hard, but not having the resources needed to grow your livelihood.

This is the reality for many Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) across India. Despite their aspirations to become financially independent, they often face barriers such as limited access to entrepreneurship training, business resources, market opportunities, and financial support. As a result, many remain dependent on others, not because they lack potential, but because they lack opportunity.

At InShakti Foundation, we believe disability should never limit someone's ability to earn with dignity. Through our Entrepreneurship Development Program for Persons with Disabilities, we equip aspiring entrepreneurs with business skills, digital literacy, mentoring, market exposure, and personalized handholding to help them build sustainable livelihoods. Based on their progress and business readiness, selected participants also receive need-based support in the form of equipment, tools, raw materials, or other essentials required to start or strengthen their enterprises.

Nusrat is one such entrepreneur.

She has the determination to succeed and has been actively working towards building a better future for herself. Through our program, she has received training and mentorship to strengthen her business. Today, she is ready to take the next step, but limited financial resources continue to stand in her way.
