Support of COVID-19 effected and afflicted vulnerable Families

Asha Kiran aims at eliminating the hunger crisis of Rural India through our relief and advocacy efforts. It started as a citizen-led campaign to meet the immediate, after lock down-induced food demands of the homeless, migrant workers, daily wage workers and other vulnerable population in Villages of Pedana. While at the face of it some cities have bounced back to normalcy, the situation at the grassroots level is grim. Lakhs of vulnerable families are still living in uncertainty.

Nutritional kits for needy families under who are risk to survive. Nutritional packed provisions for 2500 families belonging to daily wage group.

We are ensuring that we reach out to the most vulnerable families through our Dry Ration operations. These are family-driven projects which serve the dual purpose of eliminating hunger and reviving the local economy. These support and activities are giving more prevention from Covid-19 in sustainable manner because the project will protect them from the disease and disaster. When high risk people are prevented from pandemic, new infection is reduced. Starvation and its death are deduced among daily wage families when they are assured Nutritional kit.
