Support Pallium India's Expansion Project in Karnataka

Pallium India, in partnership with the National Health Mission, (Government of Karnataka)is establishing a demonstration centre for home-based palliative care at Jayanagar General Hospital, Bengaluru. This centre will help bring expert care, relief, and dignity directly to people’s homes and communities.

What we will provide ?

• Home-based palliative care for patients who are bedbound, housebound, or unable to travel easily to hospital.
• Outpatient palliative care for people needing pain relief, symptom control, and ongoing support.
• Day-care services for selected patients requiring repeated clinical attention.
• Referral support and continuity of care between home, hospital, and community.
• Psychosocial support for patients and caregivers facing serious illness.
• Rehabilitation support to improve comfort, function, and quality of life.
• Guidance for families on care at home, comfort measures, and end-of-life support.

Who will benefit ?

• People living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
• Older adults with frailty, advanced chronic disease, or multiple illnesses.
• Patients with severe pain, breathlessness, wounds, weakness, or other distressing symptoms.
• Families and caregivers who need practical, emotional, and medical support while caring for a loved one at home.
• Communities that currently have limited access to compassionate palliative care services.

• Complete the essential setup of the OPD space.
• Medical Equipment, electrical, surgical and utility items.
• Minimum and basic infrastructure to initiate services.
