Campaign by Narayan Seva Sansthan
“I was about 7 when my family met with a road accident. My right leg got amputated, my mother lost her arm and my father passed away. Since that fateful day I could not go to school, couldn’t play or run and what was worse is that I could never dream of dancing again,” recalls Palak. But Narayan Seva Sansthan came to the rescue of the family and changed their lives. “They provided me with a prosthetic leg and my mother, a prosthetic arm. Today, I am so glad I can dance again and have even returned to school,” Palak adds.
The cost of a prosthetic limb is between ₹10,000 to ₹12,000, and Narayan Seva Sansthan is failing to meet the needs of thousands of people with disabilities from poor families. Your donation can help disabled children stand on their feet again and be functional and productive members of society. Donate generously to this cause.

Narayan Seva Sansthan’s life-changing intervention has ushered in a new beginning in the lives of lakhs of underprivileged children and adults with disabilities. Free prosthetic limbs provided by the NGO have enabled many people to lead normal lives.
Giving people with disabilities a chance to thrive
Prashant Agarwal, President of Narayan Seva Sansthan has been on a lifelong mission to transform the lives of underprivileged people with disability and especially children. The nonprofit over the last 38 years has helped 4.35 lakh kids stand on their feet and live their lives to the fullest, something their parents could never afford.
“There are many parents who feel their kids are better dead than being disabled. It pains me to see this. There are people who lose their hands or legs in road or train accidents. They are forced to live inside heir homes or simply drag themselves around. The condition of children is even worse. They lose all hope and feel that they will not be able to accomplish anything as a wheelchair-ridden person,” says the NGO leader. Prashant, over the last several decades, has made sure that people from low-income families do not have to suffer because of their disabilities.
Today, Narayan Seva Sansthan, after serving people for close to 4 decades, faces a challenge owing to the growing need for prosthetics. Prashant is not able to serve lakhs of needy people on his own. You can join him in changing lives and giving thousands of people a second chance with free of cost prosthetic limbs.
State-of-the-art prosthetics
The NGO with the help of advanced machinery, builds state-of-the-art prosthetics that enable people not only to stand on their feet but allows them to live functional and mobile lives. Narayan Seva Sansthan’s expert team of prosthetists cater to a vast variety of needs, from older adults to children that are a few months old.
The need for prosthetics in India is huge. And especially for those coming from poor backgrounds who can’t even dream of affording it on their own. Prashant says “The lack of funds is limiting our ability to help these people with disabilities. The cost of a prosthetic limb is above ₹10,000 and if we get the needed help, we can transform thousands of lives.”
