We all know how important girls education is for India and for the world. And we all know that many times a small act of generosity can change everything. CITTA INDIA is hoping to make that change with your help!
The award-winning Rakjumari Ratnavati Girls school in the rural village of Kanoi, Rajasthan is bringing world-class education to hundreds of girls in one of the most challenging parts of the country for females.
Located in the heart of the Thar desert, the school was designed by a leading female architect and employed local craftsmen to build a sustainable center for education out of local sandstone. The student uniforms are designed by a leading Indian designer utilizing traditional local textiles, and at CITTA INDIA we strive to bridge historic educational inequities in Rajasthan by empowering girls through celebration and participation in their cultural heritage.
But we need your help. As we expand the student body to meet the enthusiastic local demand for girls education, we need to secure funding from within India to make the dreams of our students come true.
Donations of any size are welcome and will help us change the lives of hundreds of girls who have no other options through education. And we all know this is how we can change the world together.
