Support team India at the Dance World Cup Finals in Portugal

India has been winning several medals at the Dance World Cup since it began participating and has been winning consecutive golds for the last 3 years. The Indian team of dancers have faired very well in comparison to teams from the UK, USA, France, Portugal, Spain, Russia, etc. Its time for us to encourage our dancers to prove their prowess and bring more accolades to the country. This year the team that has qualified has dancers who hail from economically weaker sections and are dependent on us to take the journey to Braga, Portugal for the Dance World Cup Finals. It costs Rs. 1.35 lakhs approximately per dancer and out of the 110 dancers that are travelling there are about 24 dancers are in need of financial aid.

Indian Society for performers and Teachers of dance (ISPTD) is involved in skilling and employment of young adults from Socio-economically weaker sections specifically using dance as a medium.

ISPTD since its inception has engaged in many community and outreach dance in education programs in various NGOS, and Government schools across Karnataka and now over the last 5 years has successfully trained and placed 11 youngsters as dance faculty and performers in schools, institutions and dance ensembles across India.

The Impact has been small but significant in terms of bettering livelihood, directly to benefactors and indirectly to family members depending on the benefactors.
