Support the education, nutrition and healthcare requirements of children

There are 40 single-parent children who all live within the ashram premises. These children will not have an opportunity for formal education in the environment in which they live and there are fair chances that they get into bad company and turn into anti-social elements in our society. It is with this main objective that we keep them in our institution and they are all provided with breakfast, lunch & dinner. All are provided adequate medicines and health care. 

The main motto of our institution is to provide good education to these underprivileged children many of whom are very bright and intelligent. Our aim is to provide them not only with school education but to motivate them for higher studies / professional courses. They have the will to study and so we feel it’s our moral duty to empower them. Our children used to go to the vernacular medium schools. We have now selected some students whom the English medium schools have interviewed and have absorbed them. We have appointed a tuition teacher who comes daily and ensures that the students complete their homework properly and also prepare for their regular examinations. Our idea is to encourage all the students in English medium school over a period of time.

All the students who live in the ashram will get all the education-related things like books, bags, uniforms, tuition, etc and non-education-related things like food, healthcare, etc on time. This will make them focus on their education. Education will improve their knowledge and make them financially independent when they get jobs. Also, they will become good and responsible citizens of the country. One of our students has become a Chartered Accountant, one has become Engineer (Computer Science), once has completed her Nursing course.
